What's shoppy?

What kind of products does Shoppy have?

Consumer electronics, home and décor, wellness, mobile and accessories, beauty, toys and games. We're always exploring new categories, trying to bring you new daily discoveries.

Do you have a catalog?

No. Currently, we have a 'virtual' catalog. In order to ensure that our customers have access to the most current styles, prices, sizes, and overall selection, we do not publish a physical catalog. Plus, with all the styles that we carry, a catalog would be as big as a phone book! If there is a particular item or design that you are interested in, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help you locate it.

Why are your prices so low? What is the difference between buying from shoppy and directly from the brand boutique?

By liaising directly with brand merchants and authorised wholesalers, shoppy are able to offer you authentic designer brands/product at extremely competitive prices. Authorised brick-and-mortar boutiques have to abide by a regulated price list from the designer brand itself. These retail prices are higher because they take into consideration overhead operating costs, branding, advertising, follow-up service, and in the case of some brands - free maintenance within a set time frame (usually one year). Shoppy is primarily an online retail store, and we do not have hefty overheads to maintain, unlike other physical retail outlets. This way, we are able to maximise savings for our customers.

Are the colours portrayed on the computer similar to the product?

We do our best to ensure that the colours portrayed on our website are accurate. Our dedicated team of photographers and designers adhere to a stringent procedure whereby each product is physically compared to the computer monitor for best match of colour. As such, kindly understand that actual colours may vary due to monitor, display or resolution settings, as well as the type of screen used to view the website.

Are all branded items you sell genuine?

Yes, all items sold on shoppy are authentic. No effort is spared to ensure the authenticity and quality of our products, and we only obtain them directly from brand suppliers or authorised wholesalers.

If in doubt, you may verify the authenticity of your purchased item at any of the respective brand boutiques in your country. For exchanges or counterfeit claims, kindly provide us with an official document from the particular brand that refutes the authenticity of the product, and we will promptly reimburse you the full price of your purchase in cash.

Are parallel imported goods legal? Does it mean that they are rejected or defective items?

As a parallel importer, shoppy sources its products directly from brand merchants or authorised wholesalers overseas. Because we purchase these items in bulk and take advantage of factors such as wholesale rates, favourable exchange rates and the lower retail pricing in certain countries, we are able to acquire these luxury items are a lower cost, and in turn pass on these savings to you.

Parallel importing is definitely legal in Singapore and as a private limited company, we run a genuine business and do not deal with counterfeit or bootleg products under any circumstances.

Goods that are sold by parallel importers are of the same make and quality as goods that are sold in authorised brand boutiques, and the lower cost of parallel imported goods is attributed to the lack of overhead costs and difference in importation route, not manufacturing defects. Rest assured that we only import genuine luxury products from the official brand manufacturer’s home country, via authorised brand dealers.

Does Shoppy have a showroom where I can see the products?

Yes! You may visit Shoppy at 18 Howard Road #08-03 Singapore 369585. Kindly be remind this is not a retail shop but rather a showroom where we display our product and work. Hence, it's best you make an appointment with us in the event we are out for coffee.

 

ORDERING

I like the speaker! Now, how do I buy?

Making a purchase is easy. Simply browse through our store and when you see something you like, Click on "add to cart". You'll be guided through our PayPal secured checkout and viola! You're all done

How will I know if you have received my order?

After you place your order, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that your order has been received. This does not mean that we have accepted your order. Only after your credit card details have been approved, the delivery address has been verified and the item(s) located, will your order be accepted and the item(s) shipped. At which point you will receive a second email from us confirming your order. Should any of the item(s) you have ordered be unavailable you will be quickly informed of the out-of-stock piece(s) and your payment for the item(s) will not be processed.

Can I order COD?

I am afraid we do not offer COD service.

Do you sell to other businesses - Retails/ Corporate Gifts/ eCommerce ?

Yes, we're happy to sell to both individuals and businesses. If you'd like to know more, please contact us.

 

PAYMENT
How do I know you have received my order and when will payment be taken for my items?

Once you place an order using our online system you will receive an email to the address supplied to confirm your order. Once the goods have been shipped you will receive an email informing you of the dispatch. Goods will only be charged for once your goods have been shipped.

How do I know it is safe to shop with you?

Shoppy takes great pride in offering a safe and secure online shopping experience and takes many active steps to ensure the absolute safety of your credit card and personal information. Shoppy processes all credit card sales via a fully secured and reputable third party payment processor. Shoppy does NOT keep full credit card information on record. We also respect your privacy and we're committed to protecting it.

What are the modes of payment?

We accept all major credit cards including, Visa, Mastercard available through PayPal. No card information is saved at shoppy and remains the private property of the card holder at all times before, during, and after the product purchase.

Can I pay by cash or cheque?

Unfortunately not. But if you'd like to order a number of items for a business, please contact us and we can discuss a convenient way to pay.

Why has my payment failed?

This might have happened for a number of different reasons. First, check you are using a card that we accept (including Visa Credit, Visa Debit and Mastercard). Have you entered the card details correctly? Is the billing information you provided matches what your bank has on file (including address and telephone number)? If you've checked everything above and it still isn't working, we recommend you give your bank a call to check.

I'm having trouble paying through my PayPal account, what should I do?

If you're having problems placing an order using your PayPal account, simply contact us and we will be glad to help.

Is it safe to use my Credit Card Online?

At Shoppy your personal information is treated safely and securely. We use the latest SSL encryption technology to store and safely transmit your personal and credit card details through our system. All orders are processed though a secure checkout system and we do not store your credit card details.

Is my personal information kept private?

All information you share with us is private and confidential. At no point do we share, lease or sell your personal information to any other Organisation.

 

DELIVERY
Where do you deliver to?

At the moment, we offer FREE deliver to all parts of Singapore. If you live elsewhere and would like to make a purchase, just contact us and we’ll work out a solution for you.

Can I change my delivery details once my order has been dispatched?

Unfortunately we are unable to redirect an order once it has been dispatched. Please ensure that you provide a suitable shipping address when you place an order.

When will I receive my items via delivery?

All our stocks are overseas and we will arrange to be send to Singapore once your order is confirmed. We believe this is the best way to offer competitive pricing to you. For more info, kindly refer to 'Free Shipping'

Alternatively, should you require a shorter time, we are able to reduce the waiting by half through paying an additional $10 flat.

 

RETURNS

What if my order is defective or I got the wrong thing?

No problem--send an email to love@shoppy.sg right away with a quick description of the problem (a photo is really helpful, too), and we'll take care of it ASAP!

How many days do I have to return an item if I am dissatisfied with it? What kinds of items are not subject to returns?

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from Shoppy, you can return your item(s) for a full refund in the form of Shoppy Credit within 7 days from the day of receive. (Returns must be unworn, in the state you received them, and in the original packaging.) Shoppy offer 7 days return policy so long you return the item back to us in the original condition. *During the holiday season Nov 20th- Dec 30th we will waive the 7 day window in case you are getting it as a gift.

Items purchased as part of a set or multi-item pack may not be returned individually. Due to hygiene reasons, there will be no returns for intimates, undergarments and body products. There will also be no returns for accessories, small leather goods and bags unless the merchandise is defective.

Please note that we do not accept returns for bags, purses, clutches and wallets on sizing basis as the measurements and dimensions of these items are clearly stated on the respective product pages.

What do I do if I forget my password?

Do I need an account to make an order?

No, you can use the guest checkout to complete your order. Having an account not only speeds up the order process, but you will also be able to see your order history; save your personal and payment details as well as edit your favourites items.
